This contrasts with the presidential election in Chile, where the center received 45.95% (Bachelet), left 5.4% (Hirsch) and the right 48.6% (Pinera and Lavin).

1 .- Rights Civil and Political Rights: Citizenship and Participation

a) Region XIV .- The Government is submitting to Congress, draft creation of two new regions in the country: Arica and Valdivia. All indications, then, that the numerical designation "or Fourteen Fourteenth Region" to refer to Chilean population living abroad, will be in force once created those or other regions. g) Integration .- Participation and assistance in regional integration projects, such as border crossing clearance, channels bioceanic, South Trans-Andean Railway. Participation of regional representatives of the residents of the Border Committees.

h) MERCOSUR .- Creation of a forum of organizations Chilean residents of MERCOSUR, to coordinate and disseminate advances in the social, political, legal, cultural, etc., That follow the processes of integration of countries members, and relevant to the Chilean migration.


2 .- Social and Cultural Rights

a) Bilateral .- Review and enforcement of the bilateral (Chile - Argentina) health, work and welfare.

b) Senior Pension .- Project (bilateral) Chilean workers pension residents, seniors, non-contributory pension or insufficient.

c) social assistance plan .- For Chilean / as unemployed, widow / o, female heads of household, the sick or extreme poverty. Aid application assistance in their towns or regions of origin, prior social report prepared by the Chilean Consulate in your jurisdiction.
